Part 12 had a great tune, Part 13 isn’t too shabby either. The series has long lost its viral aspect. Basically, the only ones left watching are people who didn’t care if it was Christina Aguilera or not. It’s the never-ending story but I still quite enjoy watching each new episode especially when the songs are good.

This song is great, an incessant bass drone, a feeling of a complete whole of a tune. Definitely their most complete song to date. They seemed to have dispensed with the meaningful revelatory visuals this time around, unless you’re a tin foil fetishist. It seems to draw influence from Where The Wild Things Are. I’m 100% convinced the vocalist is Jonna Lee but it hardly matters anymore.

It’s a song! Do you care anymore? The song is very Golden Filter-esque and is called ‘O’.

FYI: Una caught Jonna Lee at SXSW (I just missed her) and said her acoustic folk tunes didn’t sit well with this project. So it’s either not her, or it’s a different project she’s involved in. See photos of her at the fest.

iamamiwhoami (is that what they are called?) asked Tara Busch to remix their track. Here it is with an explanation below:

iamamiwhoami

WELL SORT OF..

Can we stop the Christina Aguilera rumours now? Another iamamiwhoami video appeared most likely while you were asleep this morning. The enigmatic performer plays a song at a piano covered in paper and plastic while two scruffy bearded dudes look discombobulated in the background.

Still no definite on who it is. Can we say it’s not Xtina, not Little Boots, not Fever Ray/The Knife, not Goldfrapp, not The Golden Filter. This artist or band are either Scandanavian or English I bet. Popjustice forum members reckon it’s Jonna Lee from Sweden (Myspace). It certainly looks like her (and her band). She’s also playing SXSW. The saga continues..but maybe not much longer now.

This is the probably the best one yet. The tune sounds nice and it’s a bit more revealing. Still no proper BIG reveal though. The title says WELCOME-HOME and she says “Why” at the end. It’s the first day of Spring and the mandrake plant has seemingly sprouted.

Iamamiwhoami viral video part 6

Is this Christina Aguilera or what?

It’s Monday so it must be time for another viral video. We must be near the end, right? Someone else find out who this is. Please.

The title’s numbers spell out “OFFICINARUM” – from the Latin name for the mandrake plant. A Youtube comment mentions there are: 6 strawberries, 6 trees, 6 puppies and 6 birthday cakes. The email’s timestamp I received from iamamiwhoami is consistent with European time (or Scanadavia specifically) but the name of the sender ’0098224788223158′ doesn’t appear to mean anything. Watch it after the jump if you’re arsed. Read more ..»

This viral series is beginning to feel like a saga. At least, it’s nearly at the end. This time around we get puppies playing in the snow, actual music, a bee and closeup shots of the girl’s face. Still no idea who it is but I don’t think it’s Christina Aguilera anymore though funnily enough, it looks a lot like Lady Gaga. Margaret Berger is the latest likely contender. The video title translates to: M.A.N.D.R.A.G.O.R.A. C.

If you’ve been following this mysterious viral video story, here’s another video that debuted today. We get more shots of limbs in trees and in a new development a drawing of a goat?!!!

It turns out that the three previous videos had copyrighted video footage of a Goat birth, an owl and Whale so they have now been replaced. Oh and the title from simple code translates as CH AG – E.D.U.C.A.T.I.O.N.A.L. Here are the three videos again:
