Video: Foals - Cassius
Feb 21 2008Foals are one of those bands that only make complete sense to me in an album format. That’s because their album Antidotes is greater than the sum of its parts. Check out the Foals Interview on state.ie, what I did.
Here’s the video for the new single “Cassius”, which is about a Roman general and conspirator against Julius Caesar, sort-of.

10 reasons why this is the best video ever (this week)
I preferred the demos. I feel they don’t suit studios too well, thought the horns on some tracks are brilliant. Tron, for me anyway, is by far the best song on the album. I like the demos of everything else better. Especially ‘Two Steps Twice’, far too slow on the album…
1Go see them live, saw them at Bestival in a small tent, highlight of the festival for me
