Dubstep Souljahs documentary
Feb 12 2008Excellent Radio One documentary giving an overview of UK dubstep. The only downside is you have to listen to the woman Hobbs throughout.

Listening to MaryAnn a downside? Don’t get it myself…
1It’s her voice and her tendency to over-state things.
2What’s with the Hobbs bashing? She’s a ledge-hammer. The Breezeblock’s been going for yeeears and has been nothing short of non-stop excellence. Her voice is grand and the girl’s got enthusiasm.
3Dubstep. Yawn. Here today, gone tomorrow. More trendy shite for the folks who got decks for chrimbo.
4Heh, yeh i s’pose she can be a tad over the top at times…but it’s deffo better than a jaded ‘here’s some more trendy shite’ presenting style!
*ahem* on that note…sure d-step’s flavour of th month at th mo, but I reckon it’ll stick around…we’re seeing some _serious_ crossover albums from the likes of Burial, Vex’d, Pinch, Various Productions etc which I can see standing the test of time (until next xmas _at least_ ;P )
(an who gets decks for chrimbo anymore? sure it’s all iPods n laptops these days!)
5James. Yawn.
6Yeah, i reckon he’s a ‘deep house’ fan ;P
7C’mon lads. I think it’s about time we owned up. James is right - we only like Dubstep because it’s trendy.
8Whos WE kid? Some of us Love it…some dont.
