Deerhoof have put a collection of live songs, mashups and rarities on their website for download. Included is the Hood Internet’s Swizz Beats / deerhoof mashup, So Cow’s cover of “The Perfect Me” and alternative versions of “Kidz are so small”, “Look Away part 2″ and more. Get it here.
So Cow is wasting no time and has put up a new tune from his forthcoming album “I’m siding with my captors” out in November. the tune is called “A Hundred Helens” and is on MySpace.

I only saw these lot at Electric Picnic after I had to bow out of the beastie boys madness but they were well worth it…although I did feel bad when they said “thanks for everyone sticking around coz like the Beastie Boys are on” and I saw loads of people leave,,, anyways - free stuff - YAY!
