Jun 28 2007Blog Fresh Radio is a weekly podcast run by Alex which serves as a roundup of what’s happening on the music blogs. Alex interviews music bloggers to see what they are listening as well as compiling a Blog Chart. Alex rang me up last week to talk about Fight Like Apes which you can hear at the 26 minute mark if you’re so inclined. It’s an interesting podcast so have a listen.
In other news, this is the artwork for Super Furry Animals new album Hey Venus!…
It’s intriguing because it looks like some long lost prog-rock vinyl cover but it’s still very very ugly. Bring back Pete Fowler! Hey Venus! is out on 27th August. That’s the second disappointing album cover I’ve seen this week - Check out Animal Collective’s Strawberry Jam. Eww.
