Produced by J Dilla and recorded in late 2003 for Dilla & Guilty’s unfinished album, this poignant track samples James Brown and is concerned with Guilty’s relationship with his father. Choice lines include “Getcha ass off the phone with them damn girls / Chasin’ lust is the downfall of the damn squirrel / Now get your head in them books man!”

Guilty Simpson’s album “Ode to the Ghetto” will be released in late 2007, with production from Denon Porter, J Dilla, Madlib, Oh No, and Jake One.
