Modeselektor coming to Ireland
Feb 13 2007Totally forgot to mention this… on the 8th and 9th of March the Modeselektor DJ Team are hitting Electric City, Dublin and Fast Eddies, Cork respectively.
Going to be one hell of a night if it’s even half as good as their Electric Picnic performance!

Heard this alright Nialler but it’s not as exciting news as a live set from Modeselektor would be (Which I’ve heard rumoured for TBMC early summer…)!

Heading to Trail Of Dead tonight at the Music Centre, not really sure what to expect from the setlist…

Cahony, What were TOTD like?
8Trail Of Dead were awesome. Really enjoyed it. I’ve only really listened to Source Tags & Codes, the other albums just briefly. So I think we had about 4 or 5 songs from Source Tags & Codes - it was amazing to hear “Relative Ways” live. Some of the songs I didn’t know were really great also. I don’t remember hearing such a good sound system so well exercised since Sleater-Kinney in the same venue.
On the other hand, I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a male dominated audience at a gig in Ireland before - and I’ve seen a few like that!
Of course PMc promised a review on the blog today, I’ll have to keep my fingers crossed
Gonna head along for the hardcore organ action tonight also. If that sentence reads ok…
9Missed them in Belfast there a few weeks ago. I’ll have to get down for the Dublin show I think… They were incredible live at EP, I’m sure their DJ sets are top drawer too…
