Future Shorts tonight!

Looking for something a bit different to do this evening? I recommend a night at Future Shorts in 4 Dame Lane tonight. Basically, you get to watch some interesting and engaging short films in a nice relaxing space and have some beers while you’re doing so.
Upcoming films include satire from Tokyo, a documentary from Cape Town, animation from Venezuela, love poems from Mexico, music videos from Kazakhstan and a collage from Denmark. Also, recent work from leading lights such as Spike Jonze, Lynne Ramsey and Chris Marker.
This month they have a tale of warring buses in Bus Kong (EdHartwell, UK, 05), a surreal football documentary in Wir Sind Dir, Treu, (We are the Faithful, Michael Koch, Germany, 05) and an animated ode to family travel in Nibbles (Christopher Hinton, USA, 05).
It’s on at 8pm sharp and only a fiver in, and it’s cool …so y’know.. head along ya berk.
