Because Learning is a very intense album that deserves your ears to experience it, it is streaming above. Mike Hadreas’ solo project is a desolate, provocative and devastating listen. Comparisons to Sufjan Stevens abound but Sufjan trades in relief, nerdy joy and caricatures while Perfume Genius deals in possibly harrowing experiences, hopefully not drawn from reality. check out a live video below.
