Remix our track...OK? LOL

OK, here’s the deal. Tomorrow is Canada Day (July 1st) and to celebrate I’ll be joining a panel of bloggers from around the world in judging a remix/mashup/reinterpretation contest from Asthmatic Kitty Records. There’s a $300 cash prize for the winner along the entire available Asthmatic Kitty back catalog, and a t-shirt, the back catalog and a t-shirt for second prize, and a t-shirt for third.

All you have to do is download the song ‘Wilderness’ from Asthmatic Kitty’s latest signing Shapes and Sizes below and get remixing, mashing up or whatever it is you want to do with the track. More details here. Closing date is August 15th and the winners will be announced on 1st September.

    Hey, I need the help of all you “select blogger” -types. Can you get word to asthmatickitty regarding the 2nd runner up for the “Wilderness” remix contest for me? The link that was broken earlier, John Devon’s, is actually MY SONG!! Was that supposed to be a runner up, or was Mr. Devon’s supposed to be? I’m pretty sure my name’s Aleric, not John. HELP!! I can’t get in touch with AK.
