sorry.it’s brilliant.absolutely brilliant.it doesn’t kick off anywhere as you’d expect but it’s definitely something very special.videotape is as majestic as it was on from the basement,with added loops.bodysnatchers is another standout.

Don’t really know what to think yet, have just listened to it once. I like ‘House of Cards’, and overall, I’m surprised a the emphasis on strings and acoustic guitar. There’s a bit of a false start with the intro to ’15 Steps’, because it leads you to believe that it’s going to be ‘The Eraser’ mark2. Which it most certainly is not.

I just got it there myself and going to have a listen to it, how much did ye pay for it? I chanced 0p and wasn’t even charged the 45p credit card bill. I’ll have the Discbox on order come next month though.

Sounds to me like a band who are past their prime, who are nonetheless growing old gracefully. Lush production and arrangements, but lacks the songwriting spark that’d take it to the next level. Its still early days, but so far I think: very good, but not quite Radiohead good.
