Video: Fever Ray – When I Grow Up

I bought the ‘If I Had a Heart’ vinyl over the weekend. It has a Fuck Buttons remix on the B-side.

So this video really should just be a woman who has used an infant’s crazy paints wobbling on a diving board but it’s not because of it has “a director”. His name is Martin de Thurah. Awesome Job, Mr de Thurah.

    Do I detect sarcasm? I’m surprised you didn’t like it. I was getting a little tired of Andreas Nilssons awesome but motionless creepiness. The moment when she starts dancing in this video changes all that. It’s essentially a dance video. Albeit with the distinctive Dreijer creepy twist with great formal aesthetics.
