As brilliant as i expected them to be. Enjoyed St Vincent too. Managed to use the telephoto lens without any bouncer grief, photos here.

Spot on review, an incredible gig. The new stuff sounded great but for me the highlights were Lullabye and Colorado. Even the drunk motormouth with her back to the stage couldn’t completely ruin one of the gigs of the year.

Certainly was an inspiring gig, one of the best shows I’ve seen all year. Thought myself that “Two Weeks” was a little bit of a low point (comparatively speaking), it just didn’t stand up to the recorded version. Colorado, Foreground and I Live With You were probably my highlights and While You Wait.. was pretty excellent too. It was a real treat to be able to see much talented musicians, listening to the records is one thing but they’re way better live!

St Vincent deserves a mention too, very interesting use of effects, beats and loops and her guitar playing was stunningly good. Her voice is gorgeous too, really came to the fore during Marry Me and Jesus Saves, I Spend.
