squidge The first vinyl release from !Kaboogie’s label wing features four tracks from 16 Hertz, Thatboytim, Prince Kong feat. Jah Balance and Lakker is out this week via City Discs and Spindizzy. Featuring four “bass-heavy dance-floor wreckers”, if you’re into electronic music, dub or bass, you’ll want to hear this.

The opening track on side B from 16 Hertz is built on a snatch of a brass sample, a half-stepping beat and some nice oozing sub-bass.

You can hear 90 second samples here. Number two in the the !Kaboogie Records vinyl stable is Prince Kong’s Well Sick EP coming soon.

I’ve got a digital copy, I’ve just realised there’s no tracklisting hence this.

    But isn’t it good?

ah was just being pedantic :)

A1: Prince Kong feat. Jah Balance – Rise Up
    A2: Lakker – Unexpected Error
    B1: 16 Hertz – 16 Tons
B2: Thatboytim – Past The End

hope the next ep will be as good (all prince kong from what i’ve heard on the grapevine)

They’re also on sale in Road Records, Spindizzy and Freebird. There’ll be a few in Plugd Records in Cork start of next week too, and we’ll have some down at the next !K Club on the 20th.
