Mos Def’s album is such a corker despite our (for me, still valid) reservations about his rapping, or lack thereof.
I am now obsessed with Slick Rick thanks to this album…it’s like Dance Mother all over again, which had me downloading 4gb of Southern synth-rap and Hot Boys albums in one go.ARRRGGGGHHHH.

liking what i’ve heard of the mos album – slowly but surely making up for that awful gig he played in the village. plus the album cover comes from a class film, is there a better film title than Killer of Sheep?

I too spent about a week obsessed with Keep it Going Louder. Autotune is dead? Jay Z clearly hasn’t listened to this album.
