Awesome gig. It was a bit “regular” at the start but the human gauntlet actually went out the doors of Andrew’s Lane, up the side alley, around Exchequer St, around Trinity Street and back to the venue where we were greeted with ‘Crystal Cat’ and a mental ‘Silence Like the Wind’. Brilliant. Here’s a picture of the girl at the centre of the interpretative dance party, taken on my phone obviously.

Also, your man from Future Islands was on some Jack Black lounge singer shit.

    Super gig.

Head massages from strangers are under-rated.

Shame I missed it but I had a ticket for the Manics. Sounds like a great one.

Total carnage. I agree about the Jack Black thing btw. Loved their last song.

Deacon has a touch of the control freak about him when organising the crowd but that’s forgivable for the fun results. Human tunnel worked really well. Head massages at start of ‘Snookered’ were strange but great. ALT is great venue for gigs like that – lot’s of space and not too much security. Got me lion with shark’s head t-shirt as well.
