For me it’s ‘Triggering Back’ by Benoit Pouliard. Unbelievably good, can’t stop listening to the album it’s on, Precis (Kranky).
La Roux does sound like a cat dying, she’s utterly terrible to my ears…the Prince rip-off song wasn’t too bad but her new one makes her sound like one of the girls in the school choir who would have been told to just mouth the words instead of singing…

Two Weeks by Grizzly Bear. Just got Veckatimest today and I’m wearing the arse out of it.
Awesome tune. I’m not totally convinced the album lives up to hype but 3 or 4 brilliant tunes on it for sure.
