If I had to pick one artist as “one to watch” for this year, it would most definitely be Marina and the Diamonds. I’ve only heard five of her songs but every one has a unique charm and a propulsion towards something magnificent. I bought her debut 7″ from Pure Groove and it came signed. I felt like a proper fanboy. Check out “Mowgli’s Road” from a Huw Stephens BBC Session, a new song called “The Shampain Sleeper”.
“The Shampain Sleeper” is total Kate Bush.
