Missed this last night due to Neon Neon-ness. Victoria Hesketh forgoes her Tenori-on box for a solo, stripped-down keyboard performance.

Very nice. I raved about this track a while back to a lot of people (“friends”, pah!) and it was met with indifference at best. Charlatans!
Thanks very much for the write-up by the way. You’re very kind.
man, she is sooo fantastic. When’s she going to play Dublin?!
She played already did she not? DJ set at the very least.. Sure it’ll be proper soon in the new year.
she did a DJ set in the Button Factory, don’t think she’s played ‘live’ here yet.
Yeah, I’m not counting the DJ set ;)
Think its a tenori-on she uses
Daedalus uses a monome
Ronan yes. it is. I clearly shouldn’t post when tired.
she was scheduled to play live on the 3rd october in crawdaddy but the gig got cancelled, pod musn’t thought she had the fan base yet. won’t be shocked if they get her for a feb/march crawdaddy gig.
She’s done a hangover mix for us, and was saying she thinks there’s a Dublin show at the end of this month. Surprised we haven’t heard anything more on that though. One would think it would have been announced by now…
Cool Rob, look forward to the mixtape.
hopefully her november gig is part if the automatic lovers tour with heartbreak, whose album lies is well worth checking out
[...] Times rechecks Leo “send them home” Varadkar. Little Boots on Later with Jules. Just her and a piano. [...]
She was fantastic on Jools, great version of “Meddle”.
