We found out last night that our podcasts were shortlisted for The Irish Web Awards in Best Podcast category. That’s exciting! Luckily enough, we were due to record this anyway. Once again, we bring you the best new songs that have tickled our ears from Boston’s Passion Pit, Sheffield thanks to former 65 Days of Static member Feedle, London’s bonkers Max Tundra, Brooklyn’s groovy Gang Gang Dance, Dublin’s finest wind-up electronic from the Vinny Club, two sweaty lesbians from Tampa, LA’s noiseniks No Age plus Kentucky’s ambient Interstates and Bristol’s experimentallers Fuck Buttons. Plus, a strange oddity in Neil Young’s discography from 1982 thrown in! Aoife represents.

Liking the new look too, it’s bright and good to see the Nialler elements still there, just more jazzy :)

Did anyone else notice the squeaky voice in the background on that Passion Pit song is singing a line from the old Irish song “Óró Mo Bháidín”?
