I’d imagine you could just reverse the file and break it up into tracks in something like Audacity. Will try it over the weekend.
yeh that works. Still doesn’t make the album any better though.
will be interesting to see what kind of uses people make of backwards samples and extended files for remixes, etc.
lol thats pretty cool! they should have put silence/pauses every 10seconds to make it harder work to unscramble it. i think ill download it for the craic.
actualy on 2nd taught, their music kind of iritates me, so i wont!
#1 Or you could just download it off Rapidshare.
Um, colin – I don’t think the fact that the file is lumped together as one and is reversed will make people sampling it use it any differently, seeing as you can freely cut it up/reverse it as you wish anyway..
..I’m not bothered enough about this album to go to the extra effort of reversing and chopping about. Was it released like this officially, nialler9?
I liked that comment btw: “yeh that works. Still doesn’t make the album any better though.” teehee.

I am thinking about how its one long file so samples may be taken from across multiple songs in ways that people may not have thought of before. I don’t think I’ve heard that done before but my knowledge of sampling isn’t as extensive as others.
