Great stuff as always. Nice Caribana photo as well, that festival is a fucking blast – well at least from what I saw, unfortunately I was doing time in a call centre for most of it.

Can’t wait to hear this one. ‘Take it easy my brother Charlie’ is one of the best songs on that Soul Jazz. Which is saying something. Great to hear Ghislain and Apparat too, on the iPod for the bus home tomorrow evening…

And I though I would be the first one to make a comment about Jorge Ben. I love indie rock, but theres a lot of stuff like Jorge Ben (his albuns, especially from the 70’s are damn good) that’s aewsome to listen to!!

I hate to be too forward, but I adore you people. the eclectic mix is uber satisfying, every time. I may not love every track you choose, but I’m always sad when the podcast ends. that said – I just HAD to buy that WU album after hearing that track. so many hot tracks on that album to choose from too! Wolves or Gun Will Go would have had the same effect on me. Wu-Tang for. ever. …makes a hip-hop lover happy when a group like them have this kind of longevity. aaanyway…

congrats on the magazine! keep on keepin on.
    love from brooklyn
