There really is too much going on in the next few of weeks! You hitting Vitalic? Love that guy. Oh and I’ll be spinning some tunes in the Hub Thursday night if you have nothing better to do. (read: shameless self promotion)

Too much! I’m going to be a poor (and tired) man by the time December rolls around!

Phil, I WANT to see Vitalic but that’s 15 gigs away, so we’ll see. Is that Pandamonium you’re doing?

Mylo’s playing TBMC on the 11th of November, according to the ticketmaster and MCD websites. Not that you can get a fucking ticket yet mind.

oh yeah also I’m trying to fill out upcoming.org for gigs listings, too — it’s a free, neutral venue with lots of ways to get notification of upcoming gigs, social networks (to see who else is going), and I know the guys who hack on it, so it’s good ;)

I’d also throw in Sparklehorse (fantastic album out last month), MC5 (old skool!), Sufjan (sold out), The Spintoband (saw them earlier this year and they were great), Spearhead (if you missed him at Electric Picnic), Phoenix (would be worth it alone if they do ‘If I Ever Feel Better Now’), Divine Comedy (full band, great album and Mr. Hannon always puts on a good show), and Scritti Politti (more curiousity than anything else).

Justin, Dexter is amazing live. I put him on in Dublin about 3 years ago and he was the nicest guy ever. A real gent and a genius turntablist.

There’s loads of stuff I inevitably and intentionally left out. Dexter is part of the Heineken Green Synergy thing. I’ll be there thats all I know apart from that!

Niall: I’m dj’in the after party for the Trinity Fm launch night as part of “fresher fest 06″. Ebo, Fury of Tim, Kuta & Frankie Whelan play.

Flynner: Apparently Mylo tickets will go on sale at the door. First come first served. Its part of the Bud Rising so it’s surprising that this is how their selling tickets.

Alphastates play Sugar Club Oct. 7th. Just thought I’d throw that into the mix!
    : )

Justin – from the choicecuts newsletter

Mike – first time doing the listings. Jim’s away for three weeks so I’m covering for him. Any mails to him will be bounced to me for listings from today.

Phil, I’m going to the Alphastates gig. Their new stuff sounds great. Spool (http://www.myspace.com/spooltheband) also make some lovely music. It’s a double headliner with Halfset and both bands are playing all new stuff. Pity the Fall are on the same night.
