Looking for an interesting gig to go to this week? You could do a lot worse than this “indie-vaudeville-conceptual-art-rock-slideshow band”. Guaranteed to be at least entertaining, the Trachtenbergs are a family band consisting of dad Jason (Vocals, keyboard, guitar, bass) , mother Tina (Vocals, Slideshow) and 12 year old Rachel (Drums) who play quirky indie pop songs who employ vintage slide collections they’ve found at estate or garage sales to accompany their performances and inform their songs.
They will be playing 5 gigs in Ireland over the next week and I’ll be reviewing the Sugar Club gig later on in the week.

- Jul 27 – Triskel – Cork
